entry:

Well, at the last minute, the night before the show, I decided to buy Anna a ticket to the show cause she wanted to go pretty bad. It was during my second semester of college. Blah blah blah. So, on 4/1/2007, Anna came over to my house. She made me a thank you card for buying her lamb of god ticket. I showed her the funny part of the new chimaira DVD that reminds me of Brian with "Morgoth" in it. my mom invited her over for easter dinner. What the fuck. Dagon arrived at my house. He called me a double dousche bag. I haven't heard that one before. We listend to the new chimaira cd on the down. We got there. We did not have any problems getting in. They did go through Anna's bracelets though. We ran into Franky and Ernesto. Introduced Dagon as the bassist of Fall of Olympus to Ernesto as the guitarist of Vanquish the Weak. Then we ran into Robby with dreads and his girlfriend, Nicole with the dreads. I was wrong when I thought she was Taylor's girlfriend. I guess I met Robby's mom. The show was outside again. That pisses me off. So, I'm outside talking to Anna. As I'm talking to Anna, I keep noticing Josh Strode in the background giving me dirty looks. So, eventually, I'm like "I'll be right back." I went over to him and I was like "Is there a problem?" and he was like "I oughtta kill you for that one." I was like "what?" and he was like "For that Raggety Anna over there," and I was like "oh." Then he's like "That's my girl for tonight" and he points to some brunette chick behind him that looks familiar but I'm not quite sure if I've seen her before. So, I was like "Yah, I just came over cause you were giving me dirty looks." He's like "naugh I'm just playin." OK. So, I go back over to Anna. Ten minutes later, he comes over and he's like "I just wanted to let you know that there's no tension. I don't want there to be tension for the rest of the night." So, Anna gave her fake smile and was like "Thanks." He was like "Did you get your address changed?" and she was like "Yah" and he was like "I was just wondering cause I get a lot your stuff. Just make sure you let them know you changed it. I'll see you guys later." I said to Anna "I like that. I really like that he did that," and she was like "I don't. There was no tension. Now there is." and I was like "But he just came over to get rid of tension" and she was like "He probably just came over here cause he had an alcoholic beverage," and I was like "I'm pretty sure if he had hidden agenda, it was too bug you about your medical bills he's getting" and she was like "Yah, you're probably right. I don't care. Fuck him." So, the French death metallers, GOJIRA, were up first. They were bad ass. So, they were good. I was hoping MACHINE HEAD would at least g on next to last but they went on second instead. I've liked them since I was a youngin. The second they hit the first note, a mosh pit explodes right where Anna and I are standing. We do not refuse or resist. We conform to it. We didn't have a choice much anyways. The whole floor was non-stop total fucking destruction during their entire set. There were really intense pits. Anna lost the bridge piercing in her nose and one of her ear gauges in the pit. I had to take her to get water after a while. She got a lot of compliments and attention from guys we didn't know. One guy gave her water and then he was like "Can I get your number?" and she was like "I'm a homosexual." Rob Flynn had the crowd sing happy birthday to the guitarist, Phil. TRIVIUM was really good. There were barely any pits. During the last song, Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr, Matt Heffey was like "Let's do this, for Sparta" and then a pit formed. They rocked the house though, it was cool. I say this every time, but, I knew them when they were local. It's so cool seeing them on tour with lamb of god. Speaking of lamb of god, they were fucking awesome. They opened with "Ashes of the Wake." The crowd went fuckin crazy nigga. I'd say the most interesting part was during the first or second song, Randy Blythe asked the crowd to make a circle pit. So, two giant ass pits open up on both sides of Anna and I, and then they form together, and then we had a figure eight pit, and let's just say a lot of people got hurt. During the end og "Walk With Me in Hell," I said to Anna, "You're never alone. You walk with me in hell," and she looked at me like I was an idiot, but it's ok. Eventually, Randy Blythe split the crowd I guess when I wasn't paying attention cause some guy was like "BACK UP! WALLS OF DEATH! WALLS OF DEEEEAAATH!" and then we all backed up and collided on signal. They ended the night with Now You've Got Something To Die For, Laid To Rest, Red Neck, Vigil, and Black Label. After Black Label, Randy's like "Up next is SLAYER" and everyone's like "WHAT!" and he's like "April Fools."
