Hmmm. So, I got a gift card to ticketmaster for Christmas. My fye doesn't accept those anymore. So, I had to use it on line. I bought myself a SLAYER ticket. I got the e-mail saying that I'm going to get another e-mail with the ticket attached. Time goes by, and then eventually it's 2/23. The show is on 2/24. I realize I never got the second e-mail. So, I call ticketmaster. I have this long talk with a nice lady and in the end, the deal is that I have to arrive at the show one hour prior to the even to pick up a missing ticket voucher. Originally I was going to go with Taylor, but I decided he'd be wasted and shit and I didn't feel like riding home with unsafely. So, then it was decided that I was going to go with Mike Wunderlich. The day of the show rolls around. I wake up. I need to get my check. So, I decide that I will stop by the Ail House to say hi to Anna and then go to bus stop by Teresa's house. I come into the Ail House. The two hostesses are like "Can we help you?" and I'm like "I was just wondering if Anna was here?" and they're like "Yah, she's right there." So, she comes and talks to me. I had to ask about the surgery for hyperthyroidism that I might be getting done soon cause she had it too. Apparently I shouldn't be scared, and I will not be fat afterwards. My weight will just fluctuate. I WANNA BE SKINNY FOREVER. I had to inform her that Tonya needs pain killers for her; KoRn, EVANESCENCE, lamb of god, & Aiden were confirmed for this year's FAMILY VALUES; FLOGGING MOLLY will be the shit; and the lamb of god, TRIVIUM, MACHINE HEAD, & GOJIRA show will be the shit. She had to go do something and I had to wait there. The one hostess was like "So, is that your girlfriend?" and I was like "...........NO" and she was like "Is this her first day?" and I was like ".........NO" So, Anna came back and told me that I should go visit Sean and I should call him after SLAYER. So, I walked over to Sean's house. I spent time with him as he did his homework for his new job at MOE'S. He does not believe my kiss-o-clock story. So, then I went and waited at the bus stop by St. Claire's. As I'm waiting for the bus, Mike calls me and tells he got hit in the eye with a baseball. He'll still be able to go to the show though I guess. I got on and went to the mall. I went into fye and got my check and checked the schedule. I told everyone I was going to worship Satan tonight. I went to the food court and ate Skylark. I went back to the entrance between macy's & SEARS and Mike calls me and says that he just can't make it cause he feels like absolute shit from this baseball accident. So, I call Chris Anchors and tell him and I need a ride. I call Bleak to see if he'll give me a ride home. Right as I call him he's walking up to me. So, we go into Game Stop and he buys some game. Then we go to Sean's house. I go outside and talk to Dan on the phone for an hour. Then Bleak and I go pick up Dan. Bleak drops Dan and I off at the mall. I run into Caitlin. Chris Anchors picks me up from the mall. Dapie is in the front with him. Chris's new girlfriend is in the back. Dapie is an old, fat, hairy man. He is fun. So, we got down there. They parked the car and went to KFC while I went to pick up my missing ticket voucher. On my way there, I found Taylor, Toby, and Taylor's new girlfriend tailgating in the parking lot. Toby got a mohawk the previous night. Taylor's new girlfriend is super cool. Her name is Nicole. She is short. She has blonde dreds. She is from Germany. I have heard plenty of good things about her and now I met her. I approve. She is absolutely adorable. So, I went to the  It literally took them over half an hour to process it. I came back to the car. They saved a chicken wing and a biscuit for me. That shit was good. We just stood there while everyone except me finished their beers and cigarettes and stuff. Dapie tried to make fun of me for my pretty pink bracelet but I was like "FUCK YOU ANNA MADE IT FOR ME IN REHAB." So, eventually we went over and stood in line which extended forever. The show was so sold out. We made it in. It was in the outdoor venue. We stayed up on the balcony. Taylor, Toby, & Nicole found us again. UNEARTH was so fucking good. It was ridiculous. The second they started a bug pit opened up on the floor. They played "Endless" second and during that Chris took back all the shit he was talking about them. After that song, I couldn't take it anymore. Me, Taylor, and Toby had to go down. We went down to the floor. They went in the pit. I just wanted be down there in the crowd with the energy. It was so so fucking the shit. This now ranks them in as the official band that I have seen the most, coming in at as my fifth time seeing them. The only part that sucked was a couple metal elitists that were like "Fuck you! You're not true metal!" Notice how at every metal show that SLAYER's not at consists of drunken old guys screaming "SLAYER!" Well, imagine how much more of that there is at an actual SLAYER show. The bass sounded so good. At the beginning of every breakdown there was a bass slide and the whole audience just went "oooooooh." It felt so good being in that environment that I had missing for a while with energy in the crowd and the cheering people on the balcony and the pummeling metal assaulting vibrations through everyone. It was like that for the rest of the night too. After they were done, and I was kind of separated, Nicole found me. We made our way through the people up to the balcony where we found Taylor and Toby again. Then we ran into Chelsea, Meaka, Dustin, and some girl name Janice, I think. Chelsea goes "Travis!" and gives me a huge, long hug. She's drunk as fuck. She's like "Are you with Anna?" I'm like "No." She's like "NO! She's with Sean!" and I'm like "She's not with anyone right now," and she's like "Caitlin said she saw them in the mall and they were all over each other." Well, I hope I convinced her enough of what the truth is. I'm trying. I really am now. I really do wanna fix things. Anyways, SLAYER opened with "Darkness of Christ" and followed right into "Disciple". Me, Taylor, Dustin, Chelsea, & Meaka were all up on the balcony during that. We went down stairs from the inside, and it took us the next two songs to work our way out into the crowd, until I could separated (again) and comfortably in the open. Somewhere towards the end of the set Nicole found me so I wasn't all by myself anymore. There was some dumb ass juggalos by us screaming out juggalo stuff. I'm like why the fuck are you here. Go die. I could shred any of the rappers on Psychopathic. Hahahaha, at one point, Tom Araya was like "Do you wanna die?" and everyone was like "YYYYYYAAAAAAAHHHH!" but then retards close by were like "JUGGALOS NEVER DIE!" and I'm like, really now, come tell me that in eighty years. The only song I really wanted to hear but didn't was "New Faith". That's my NIGGA JAM right there. They finished with "Reign in Blood" and then it took the crowd all of a microsecond to call for an encore. So, then they played "South of Heaven" and finally ended with "Angel of Death". I saw that dark kid with the lip ring that I used to work at Abercrombie with on my way out. So, Chris, his girlfriend, Dapie, and I went to 711 and I got combos, bright sour octopuses, an AMP, and an OVERDRIVE. I saved the OVERDRIVE for today for after I train with Dan though.
