entry:
Alright, so, it was over Christmas break in twelfth grade. Here's the scoop, a whole bunch of really talented musicians, all of which I have been in bands with formed a really cool metalcore band together without me, called Cast the Water. Their first show was at some Asian kid's birthday party and I decided to go and support them. Here's the line up: Tim on vocals, Eric on guitar, Franky on bass, Ernesto on guitar, and Darrio on drums. We all hung out and laughed and shit. Since they just got together a couple of days ago, they didn't have enough songs to fill in their time slot so they had to do covers in between. So, they got on. They did one of their songs. Then they covered a KILLSWITCHE ENGAGE song. Then they another one of their songs. Then they covered Deadbolt by Thrice. Darrio fucked it up pretty bad though. Then they played another one of their songs. Then they all left the stage and Tim just played the guitar and sang Three Leppars by A PERFECT CIRCLE. Then we hung outside and talked and laughed and shit. Then I ate food. Then we watcehd JOHNNY DELICIOUS AND THE PROFOUNDS and they really sucked but they were funny as hell. Then Eric did one acoustic classical piece by himself on the guitar. Then we went home.
