entry:

So, it was in the first semester of twelfth grade. The date was 12/3/2005. I know I said I'd never go to Bakesale unless KoRn was there, but if I wanted to see StAiND and TAPROOT together, I would have to see them far away and for a more expensive price. So, my step dad dropped me and Brian off at like 10:00. We found Brian's friend, Zack. We hung out with him for a while. Eventually we watched ART OF DYING over at the second stage. There was a nice mosh pit and all the dust was flying up in the air adding  a neat little effect to the atmosphere. They were really good except it got annoying how in between every song the singer talking about how he wanted us to come visit them in Canada. Fucking tourism advertisement schemes. They're getting smarter aren't they? After that we found Brian's collection of friends which I hate. We hung out with them for a while. They were all drugged up as hell. Later we went over to the lawn and watched TAPROOT. TAPROOT was fucking bad ass as hell. I really didn't want to continue sitting with them so I saw Dan the man and went to go hang out with him. We went up to the center of the hill cause there was a moshpit there. I just wanted to watch it. However, when they played their last song, poem, I was pushed in for some reason. So I'm just getting knocked and thrown around kind of like "Yah, um, guys, I know you're having fun here, but, I'd really like to have my own space now, can I just get over her you know, pardon me excuse, hey stop pushing me, I'm sick guys, come on." I'm just kidding. I went with it since I was in it, but I really couldn't get out until the song was over. Then I felt like I was dying afterwards cause I was sick with whatever kind of cold I have right now. As I was like dying on the ground I noticed the mailman with the mullet that lives on my street. strange. So, I decided to begin quest Dana. I also needed to find John Cuilla because I need to talk to him about my project. See, all the seniors in Palm Beach Gardens have to do this bullshit project where they choose a career that they know nothing about, write a research paper on it, find a mentor and spend fifteen hours with them, and create a final physical product. I wanted to do mine on being a rock star but my English Mrs. Scipione said I already know how to do that. So I decided that I would do my project on booking management and John Cuilla agreed to be my mentor. So, I walked around  the hill. Just as I walking down the let side (if you're on it) of the hill I heard someone go "Travis!" and I turned around and it was Samantha from my math class. She was like "Where's your girlfriend with the blonde hair from math class?" I told her that I didn't and that I was trying to find her. I probably should have clarified to her that Dana isn't my girlfriend, but oh well. It'll add to math class drama, which is fun cause I like attention, bitches. I found Phil from Stillkept. He said that John is probably on the other side of the amphitheatre. So, I walk all the way to the other side of the amphitheatre and of course he's not there. So then I go on the hill to watch 30 SECONDS TO MARS on the main stage. Their music was very pretty. I found Dan the man again with Libby and Michelle Jordan. I watched 30 SECONDS TO MARS with them. I saw Danny Simmons, he was drunk as hell. I talked him and Dustin Strode and Kristy Lewis for a little bit. Then I went over to the second stage to watch one:. So, I finally find John and he's on stage playing with his band. Out of the ten times I've seen one: play, this was the best time so far. They were so fucking good. There was a huge ass moshpit during their hole set. I was in it too. It was seriously like an Ozzfest size pit. During one of their songs, Muk successfully pulled a Mark Hunter trick, meaning he split the crown. Right when the crowd split I noticed Taylor Wurtz and I jumped next to him, and he was like "FINCH!!" and when the the music kicked in the two sides charged all hell broke loose. It was fucking awesome. After their set, I went over to the side of the second stage where the band was talking to people and signing stuff. I got to talk to John for a little bit, he said for me to send him another e-mail. I left him shortly though because he was getting tagged by fans. So, then I went into the food/merchandise area and bought one of those orgasmic snow cones and I filled it up with all the flavors from the flavor-syrup-machine-thing. It was so fucking good. When I was finished with it I went back to the second stage to watch STORY OF THE YEAR. I talked to Robby, I had seen him like all day. They were really fucking awesome. They had al lot of energy. They surprised me. At one point They did a package of covers of sections of famous songs. That was fun. During one song, at one point, the two guitarists were on opposite sides of the stage and threw their guitars to each other across the stage. The bassist through his guitar to the singer and did a back flip off the drum set, and then the singer threw the bass back to him and he did a back flip off the drum set. It wa so bad ass. I was too lazy to go over to the main stage and watch nonpoint but it doesn't matter cause I've already seen them. So I stayed over at the second stage. Dan the man came over. We got up front for my chemical romance. It was night time when they hit. They were good but I was miserable the whole time. It was so crowded it was like watching CRADLE OF FILTH on that stage all over again. I was like suffocating and my hair was getting caught between people's bodies. I went into the moshpits, not because I wanted to mosh, but because it was the only way to get some air and space. At one point I was in the opening for a pit, but there was nothing going on. They played some catchy dancy party sounding song so me and two other people starting two-stepping in a circle. Then some kid pushed me over and no one's even fucking moshing. So, I got up and I was like "Man, what the fuck's you're problem!" and then his big friends got all up in my face, and suddenly I was apologizing. So, during HOT HOT HEAT's set on the main stage I wandered Sound Advice trying to find Dana. Down I the merchandise section I saw Michelle Jordan talking on her cell phone in her bra so I grabbed her and was like "HAVE YOU SEEN DANA!" and she was like "She's in the bathroom." So I ran towards the ladies' room. As I was running over I saw Elise first, and then Dana came out from behind her and I hugged her and talked to her for like two seconds and kissed and it was worth it. So then I bought another orgasmic snow cone thing. All the flavors bitches. Then I talked to Dana and Elise again. I found Brian who was with Mike. Mike apparently gets free V.I.P. tickets for every show at Sound Advice. It must have something to do with the fact that he works at George's Music. So he got me and Brian to sit with him in the third row for the rest of the last three bands. Now that was really the closest I had ever been to the stage there. TRAPT played well even though I don't like them. OURLADYPEACE was fucking beautiful. Somehow Dan snuck his way up there with us during them. StAiND was the best part. They played all the songs I wanted to hear (well, I mean, I knew they wouldn't play a lot of old smaller songs, but other than that you know) except my favorite, home, I wanted to hear that but they didn't play it. I was happy that they at least played one song from Tormented and two songs from dysfunction. Everyone was singing the words to all the really popular slow singles, and everyone had their lighters out. It was so beautiful. At one point, Aaron Lewis came out with Dimebag Darrell's guitar and played one song with it. What I really didn't understand is why they had two basses on stage. That was weird. It was a really good performance though. Mike took me and Brian home and we talked about religion and quantum physics. It was fun. My boogers are still black as I'm writing this.
