entry:
This is probably the show that struck my hungry addiction for shows. In fact, I still remember the date, August fifteenth, 2003. It was in the first semester of tenth grade. We told my parents that Dagon's band was going on last so that they would let us stay out late. So Alex's mom dropped me, him, and Lien off at THE KELSEY CLUB. Lien was wearing a black dress wth cherries on it... awww. Alex ran into Shana, a girl he went to preschool with. She introduced us to her boyfriend Josh Strode. That was one big mother fucker. HOLLOW POINT came on first. They fucking suck. Next was the reason we came, 7 Rooms. You know what? They suck too. I was so disappointed. They're a fucking allstar team for crying out loud. They have Mike Asfor from Sunday Morning Mass, Dan Asfor from HATE CRIME, Jake Yarnold from VOID and Sunday Morning Mass, Chris Davis (Dagon, whatever the fuck you want to call him) from skiplife and KANA (don't forget Imperious, lol), Andrew from skiplife and KANA, Mike S. from VOID, and the socially famous Ken on samples. How could you go wrong with that kind of line-up? Well, I found out the hard way. They had been working so hard in that band and their music is getting them nowhere. They sound like kiD ROck meets old chimaira. Ok, I'll stop cracking especially cause I'm in a band that's going nowhere and hasn't practiced since freshman year. Chris says "how could you be dispapointed? We supported you guys." Whatever. The rest of the night was fun cause I got to spend time with good old friend Dagon. Lien's dad wouldn't let her stay anylonger. Third band to hit the stage was LUNatic CanDy Kreep. How bad ass was that. Me, Alex, Josh, and the drummer from HOLLOW POINT started a moshpit. Josh wooped all out asses. After that he said he'd look out for me from then on. Alright, next was a band that has so much potential. I surely hope they make it. ...inTHiSDAY... kicked ass. We stayed for the first two minutes of Stillkept, what a great band.
