entry:

It was in the seconds semester of twelfth grade. I have been working intensely on my senior project. I've gotten five good hours in with John Cuilla. I've gotten to hang out in The Mojo Room (new Kelsey Club in Port St. Lucie opening in Spring) while it's still under construction. Now I'm on my own for the most part because his banad, one:, is on tour as the opening act for the SEVENDUST, nonpoint, SOCIALBURN, WICKED WISDOM tour. I can still call him for advice though, which you better belive I do. This particular night, I had two options. I could either go to the NO INNOCENT VICTIM, seventhstar, Know the Score, & Warfare show at RAY'S so I could talk to Ray about letting me do my show there for senior project, or I could go to the keggar things so I could talk to Stillkept and BECOMING FINAL about the guarantees for doing my show for senior project since they agreed to do it. At first I chose to go the N.I.V. show and talk to Ray since I had already talked to the bands. Then, I thought about the politics. The only reason that Ray makes all the hardcore shows all ages is because he has no choice since no one that goes to those shows is over twenty-one. There's no way I'm going to be able to convince Ray to let me make it an all ages show. Therefore Stillkept would pull out because the last time they played there he made it a 21+ show at the last minute and they were pissed about that. Even if I do goet Ray to say yes, then Bloodsoaked Glory will pull off the bill because the last time they played there, Ray was an ass hole. So, all ages or not, I would loose one of my headliners. So, I figured I'd go to the party and talk to the guys in the bands and then try and get the show at either Crusins in Jupiter, Skatezone in Lake Worth, or The Hideout in Boca Raton. So, Alex picked me up. We went to McDonald's. The show was really just a party being a held at the warehouse where BECOMING FINAL practices which is in Delray Beach. So, on the way to Delray we picked up his friend Sonya at the F.A.U. campus. So, we got there. There was a bunch of people. They had it set up so that the roll up door to their warehouse unit was open and the stage was inside and you could either stand outside and watch them from there, or you could through the walk in door and stand by the stage. First thing I did when I got there was talk to Phil from Stillkept. Nice thing is, in addition to already talking to Sean on my space about the show, John had called Phil to make sure they were truly down for it. He was real cool about it. He said they're not available for March 3rd or 18th, which is fine so far. They won't play The Hideout because last time they played there, there was no PA. Cruisins only has rock shows on Sundays. So, looks like I'm gonna shoot for Skatezone. He said that since it's for school, I'll only haveto pay them a hundred bucks and if I can't attract enough people in Lake Worth, they'll bring their core fans down. He also said h works for a graphics company and he'll try and get flyers for cheaper or something. Lien and Julie found me. OMG, Lien was soooooo drunk. She was stumbling all over the place and then she saw and gave me this big hug (we're cool again by the way) and was all like "TRAVIS! YOU TOLD ME YOU WEREN'T COMING!" and I was like "I wasn't but----" and she was like "Travis you have a very special place in my heart, but I'm not gonna tell you how special cause hgfjhg98yvnvyvn 5ncnupy5" and I was like "What?" Then she looked at Alex and was like "I DON'T KNOW YOU BUT YOU'RE WITH TRAVIS!" and she hugged him. Then she came back to me and was like "WHERE'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" I said "Not here," and she was like "You're very talented. You're make it places. Keep up the work," and then she walked off to talk to other people. I talked to Matt Slin. Me, Alex, and Sonya went inside to watch BECOMING FINAL. It was there first show I believe. I'm really surprised at how good this band turned out to be, seeing that their last attempt was a disappointment. Here's the line up: James F. on vocals, Lance on Guitar, Mike on bass, Dan Asfor on guitar, and Andrew on drums. They did really good. James came out in a priest costume. He was going crazy too. He ripped off the fan that was hanging from the ceiling. They really rocked that shit though. After they were done I talked to Dan Asfor for a little bit. Then I listened to Alex talk to Dean, formerly of CysT. Dean was talking about how he's making this movie called Death Metal. It's about this death metal band that really sucks, and they're trying to win this battle of the bands. The winner of the contest gets signed and gets to go on tour with OBITUARY. So, they summon this demon to make them a better band. At the end ofthe movie they're good enough to win the battle of the bands but when they go and try to do it they find out that they accidentally summoned a zombie god and everything is take over by zombies. Anyways, then I had some conversation with some guy named Josh. Interesting. Then I talked to James F. BECOMING FINAL is still down for the show. Then we went back in to watch RESPONSE NEGATIVE. They kicked out the guy that used to be in OVERKILL. They also got  rid of their bassist and replaced him with the bassist from After the Calm. They got the Zilla for lead guitar now. They were fucking awesome. Me, Alex, and James were head banging on the edge of the stage. It reminded me of MERRY METAL XMAS. They did so fuckin good. Then I ran into Jeff Pickins and Danny McKnabb. Then me and Alex were talking to the singer of MONSTROSITY. I got to watch Stillkept's first four songs, and then Alex wanted to leave. I got buisness done, that's all that matters.
