entry:

Well, since I work at fye, and I work the ticketmaster, I know a lot more about ticket sales now. The day the tickets for this show went on sale, one minute after the tickets went on sale, *boom*, the floor was sold out. That's how rabid TOOL fans are. GOOOD DAAAMN.  Sean went to the mall early that day to get seats. We engaged a lottery to make it fair because of the fact that so many people had been waiting in line all morning. It just so happened that Sean got to be second line due to the lottery, and he got floor tickets. So, he was really lucky. Of course, he decided that he would be using the other ticket on Anna, instead of his best friend Travis. I didn't even bother at the time because I figured that I wasn't going to be able to get seats that were worth it. Time went by and I realized, I really love TOOL and they only tour every five years or so, if they call it quits after this album I can never see them, and I realized if I was going to have to see them from crappy seats, that's what I was going to do. I got two cause I would need a ride and I figured I would pick Dagon ad he wouldn't have to pay me back because they're his favorite band. So, a couple months went by, and during those months Sean was convinced that he had purchased tickets for the show in Orlando, until a week before the show I looked at his tickets and said "Dude, these are for Ft. Lauderdale." He had already bought a train ticket for Orlando (using my idea to get me and Anna to see into eternity in Orlando on the dark tranquility tour). Well, we're at a point in our life where we're all upset with Anna, so Sean decided he was going to take Beth instead. So, he went up to Orlando on the train the day before, and stayed with Beth. She lives there now and goes to school there. Meanwhile, while he was having fun in Orlando scarring kids at Downtown Disney, I'm at work receiving phone calls from Anna expressing how much she hates me for all the shit I've been talking. Bleak woke me up the next morning to go to Denny's. I'm still distraught over Anna. It starts pouring rain. We ate. We picked up Dan. We went to my house. Most people's weight are their motivation to exercise, but for me, it's my emotions. Bleak played on my computer while Dan and I trained in the back yard, in the rain. It was pouring rain and I started to cry at one point when we were practicing striking. It was like in a movie. When that was done I took a shower. Dan made a plate of healthy food for me. Kevin came over. We all talked shit about Anna. Eventually, they all left. Then Dagon came to pick me up. He brought me Burger King. That Hershey's Pie was good. I think I talked his ears off the whole we down there. We listened to IN FLAMES and MOTOGRATER. It poured rain the whole time. So, we get to the arena. It's still pouring rain, and there's a long line stretching out of the doors to the arena, which we have to stand in, which sucks. So, we get soaked. I ran into Kelly Kishman on the way in, though. So, we get in. I talk to Sean on the phone and there's no way we can sneak onto the floor with him because you need a wristband, which aren't off and on easily. We go to our seats, which, might I add are Row God-Knows-Where and Seat A-Million-Miles-Away. We sit down. I'm like "At least we're only the next to last row, which is true. In all honesty, though, there was nothing bad about it. I could see just fine. MELT-BANANA opened. Everyone's like "WTF WHERE'S TOOL WTF!" and I was like "THE PANTHERS! I JUST CAME TO SEE THE PANTHERS PLAY HOCKEY! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!" They were pretty cool. They're a progressive electronic rock band from Japan. I wanna hug the singer. She's so cute. Some guy nearby yelled "POKÉMON!!!!" and I yelled "Not funny! Not clever!" Racist fucking ass hole. They finished. TOOL played exactly a two hour set. I timed it. They got on at nine and finished at eleven. Justin came out first, then Adam, then Danny, then Maynard. Maynard played with his back to the audience the whole time. He wore a cowboy hat. They at least played the following songs: Jambi, Stinkfist, Forty Six & 2, Schism, Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two, Pushit, Wings for Mary, 10,000 Days, Lateralus, and Vicarious. They had weird visuals and projections and lasers going on the whole time. It was a good distraction from the fact that they don't move around on stage. Such pretty colors, I wish I did drugs....no, wait, I don't. During Rosetta Stoned, they were showing stars and planets and shit. Some guy stood up, and I was like "Move damnit! I wann see mother fuckin Saturn bitch! What is Saturn doin here! Saturn's supposed to be all up in space and shit! Saturn's friends with TOOL man, they some bad ass motha fuckas." I was depressed that I didn't get to hear Aenima. The show ended and we went outside and it's still pouring rain. We literally stumbled around the parking lot looking for his not camaro for over half an hour getting drenched in this rain "OH GOD WHEN WILL IT END!" and it never did end. It rained till the next morning. I talked Dagon's ears off the whole way home again. The best thing about this show, though, was that it really helped get my mind off things. It was like, while I was there I didn't have to worry about Anna or anything. It was nice.
