entry:
Well, this was my fifth official show, second show outside of West Palm Beach, and first hard core show. It was in the summer between tenth and eleventh grade. It was on 6/10/2004. My parents let me go because I was going with Danny Simmons and Dustin Strode and plus, UDEROATH is a Christian band. So we drove down to Ft. Lauderdale till reached THE FACTORY which was actually a couple buildings down from the CULTURE ROOM. I was shocked when I found out that Dustin is Josh's cousin. The only people from West Palm that were there were Alican, John Carnie, and Pat Boe. It was HEARTS OVER ROME's first show as a signed band. They rocked. Then Into the Moat got on and they kicked ass. It was one of their first shows as a signed band. FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES got on they sucked every single testicle that I have. This big fat skin head wearing a sideways hat told me to punch their singer in the face. They were fucking horrible. So now, I went there to see EIGHTEEN VISIONS, I'm a huge fan. I was expecting one of the best performances I've ever seen in my life and ya know what I got instead? 102% more. They got on and they're stage presence was so awesome and sexy I'm not even going to go into details as of how good it was. The place went crazy. They opened with OBSESSION. Then they moved into You Broke Like Glass. Then they played a bunch of new songs followed by Waiting for the Heavens, and then VANITY. Of course, they ended it with their famous song, Who the Fuck Killed John Lennon. The show ended with UNDEROATH. I'm not a big fan of them but they did awesome anyways. I think it's cause everyone loved them so much.
