NOTES: This sessions took place about a year before of the recording of "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge". Something So Clear is the only one that has been officially released, on the linner notes of it's release said the following about the songs: "Recorded in early 1990 as a 24-track demo at Music Scene in Seattle, 'Something So Clear' was mixed at Reciprocal, also in Seattle. A later, 8-track version appears on their current Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge album. Since the album version was recorded nine months later, Mark Arm says it had 'evolved to a degree.' Though the band gives the LP version of the tune overall nod, Arm does note that 'The song was new when we recorded the 24-track version". The others song listed may be recorded as well, based on the fact that were debuted live by the band around the time of the session. Also on a 1992 interview with Guitar Player, Steve mentioned the following about the sessions: "We did a bunch of stuff in a 24-track studio about a year before the now album (Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge) was made, and didn't like it at all!. It just didn't sound right, so we decided to go down to 8-track just to limit ourselves, and also because it usually sounds better."
