Superfuzz Bigmuff was Mudhoney's first EP. It was recorded during the Fall of 1988 at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle. It was released October 1, 1988 and due to the hype given to the whole "Seattle-Sub Pop Scene" in the UK the EP stayed on the England charts for over a year. It was later re-released on CD as Superfuzz Bigmuff plus Early Singles. The tracklist on the CD reissue is different than in the original EP. On the original EP the sides of the record were called "Inside" and "Outside" and contained a picture of a Superfuzz and Bigmuff...The photograph of the cover was taken by Charles Peterson and the EP it's out of print.
