Tomorrow Hit Today was Mudhoney's last major label album. It was recorded in January 1998 at Studio Litho in Seattle. But they also recorded some tracks in February 1998 at Ardent Studios in memphis. It was released on September 22, 1998.
The version of "Poison Water" is different than the one recorded with Jack Endino for the unreleased Black Sheep Soundtrack. "Ghost" is a cover originally by Chaeter Slicks. "Talkin' Randy tate's Specter Blues" appears after "Beneath The Valley Of The Underdog". The art direction was by Hank Trotter and the photographys were taken by David Belisle.
