THE TEACHER
You tought those eager faces
That just could not wait to learn
You showed them all the places
Where they could always turn
You were the woman
That in your younger days
Made them want to see
The world in different ways
You filled their imaginations
With fairy tales and all
And you would help them up
Whenever they did fall
At the end of every year
You would have to let them go
Hoping they would soon
Learn everything they needed to know
Have no worries
And have no regrets
For what you taught them
They will never forget
Everywhere in life they go
The will rember you
Your were the one that started them out
And showed them a different poin of view
