Kimberly....

My name is Kim, and I'm the person who narrates the book, which is the story of my life and the lives of the other kids in my family. We have all been abused severely by our parents, cousin (Die, Jack Robert Kenton Junior! Yeah, I used your name. Sue me, you freak!) and a lot of other people in our family.
     As for me myself, II have been known to rely on several aspects of 80s and 90s pop culture to get me through the tremendous amount of abuse I have endured. It is on this note that I wish to thank: Joe McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, and Jonathan and Jordan Knight (all members of my all-time favorite group, New Kids On The Block, and Joe, you're still my favorite. lol.). I also wanna thank Helen Slater (pictured here as my alter-ego Supergirl. lol), who is my idol and Christopher Reeve, who played Superman, of course.
      Finally, before I shut up, I wanna thank you, my visitors.

     I looked at mine and Kevin's reflection in the huge vanity mirror, and despite myself I just had to smile. He was right. I did look brave and powerful, but it was all because of him. Kevin loved me, and by age six, I had definitely grown to love him even if Jackie didn't want me to.
     'Kimberly,' Kevin put his hand on my shoulder. 'I love you, and I will forever.'
