The term "Final Fantasy" essentially means "Last Dream." If they're all a "Last Dream," then why does the series continue? I figure it's because each game is an entire story within itself, with universal morals and a little bit of fantasy to it. In other words, I think they're all called "Final Fantasy" because it's the end of an unrealistic occurrence of some sort. I can, however, be wrong in my interpretation... |

Ah, your typical fairy-tale romance...hmm...or is it. I think the whole Terra/Gaia thing is based on the story of "Atlantis." Some who believe that existed also think that it was a civilization from another planet. Garland=too similar to that guy who supposedly guards the sleeping Atlantians. Some elements of it=not original. |
