Title Relevance (not graded)	-	"Metal Gear"=nuclear launching thingy prototype; "Solid"= Solid Snake (I kinda' liked the title of the Gamecube version though...y'know "The Twin Snakes"...yet I find a fault in that...what about Solidus? That would make it a triplet-lol)
Characters	10/10	They each had their own weird, yet realistic, personalities. The Snake/Meryl dialogues were HILARIOUS! Well, when Meryl was sniped, that was sad. The characters were well-rounded. 100% excellent.
Story-line	10/10	It's really enough to bring tears to your eyes...
Action	10/10	Well, in the PS version, there were a few motion barriers in comparison to the sequel, but I don't grade in comparison to anything to sequels (since that would be a lop-sided review). Therefore, I give it 10/10!
Graphics/Music	9/10	Hmm...now this must be the one and only flaw in the entire game. (The characters' eyes are rather blurry). Music was perfect...but I still must wonder why they Irish-Gaelic music...hmm. I mean the setting is Alaska. How does Ireland relate to this? I mean some people might tell me its dumb to ask such a question, but think about it. The music enhances not only the mood, but reflects something about the movie, or in this case, the game. Irish culture and music is off topic... But the music was nice nevertheless.
Miscellaneous	10/10	No problems except graphics.
Overall=	48/50 (98%)	My Advice=Play it. Anything by Hideo Kojima is a MUST!

Additional Comments: Although many other reviewers greatly criticize and find much flaw in Metal Gear Solid, I would HIGHLY disagree, but not disregard some of the comments made. It is true that Metal Gear Solid has much conversation, but there is much drama, humor, & action packed within it as well. There is a little bit of everything fitted into it for almost everyone, whether you are an action/adventure fanatic or not. Another thing I must add is that Metal Gear Slid was the only game in which I eagerly anticipated and found little fault in. Usually I would not anticipate something as being good and give it a high grade. Metal Gear Solid was absolutely stunning from beginning to the very end. Might I also add that it was the only game of its calibur which I played from beginning to end for 7 times and still not grow weary of it? ^_^* (I know, I have no life) If Metal Gear Solid were to ever become a movie, that would have to be the most shocking and amazing thing to ever occur, for Metal Gear Solid was the most shocking and amazing thing to ever occur to me and possibly in gaming history. Finally, to Kojima, I must say that you are truly an amazing and inspirational person and meeting you would be the best thing that has ever happened to me! Kojima is one of the reasons I plan on becoming a director, just like Kojima himself. It's funny how we were both born on the same day (but not year): August 24th...anyway, you all must be thinking "What the hell does that have to do with Metal Gear Solid?!" Ah, well I guess I shouldn't get carried away with personal talk. To sum it all up: GET METAL GEAR SOLID! MGS=BEST GAME IN GAMING HISTORY! (And yes, I do think the MG series is better than the Final Fantasy series)
