Sorry about that. I have really been working on my other web site a lot lately and kind of let Super Volkswagens down a little. Again, I am sorry.

To make them rattle free, get some pieces of thick house carpet about 2" by 3" in size. Cut about 4 pieces. Get some 3M (yellow) Weather stip glue (aka Yellow glue or Monkey snot). This glue will hold the carpet there for years. Place the carpet inside the door on either side of the glass, (behind) around the armrest level. This carpet will allow the window to slide up and down freely and will keeping the window from rattling. Test fit a piece of carpet first to make sure it is thick enough to do the job. A tight fit is good, the carpet drag will free up in time.

To make the windows leak free, get the good snap in seals from Barrett Enterprises. Use some 5 minute epoxy glue (the 3M yellow will work but the epoxy is better). Also, some 3M small double sided tape inside the door between each clip helps the seal stay in place. The seal that goes on the upper part of the window should be cliped in good with new or good clips and some 3M double sided tape between each clip. After that take some clear silcone and make a bead along the seal, the upper one.

Some silcone spray or talc powder on the window will help the new lower window seals slide on the glass better until they are broken in.

Once again, sorry about the article. I'll get it up there one day. The main thing that slows me down are pictures. Hope this helps and is what you've expected. If you need me to clear any of this up or any other help, just drop me an email.
