The Music I Love ranges from Old School Hip hop to Punk to retro powerpop and indierock. I can't say, "I like everything" because I've learned as a college radio DJ that there are tons of types of music around and I'm not a fan of everything, nor have I heard everything. For me to enjoy a band, not only do I have to like their sound, but I have to be drawn in by them, taken out of my own world and transplanted into an alternate dimension. I have to feel for the band, understand and believe in the band. Music isn't just about sound, it's about heart.
Music I Hate is shoveled into my ears by corporate radio and mtv. It's devoid of meaning and only made to make money. It's pointless and destructive to the well being of society and also an aural threat.
The Music I Play Is a special blend of Unhyphenated rock and Power Pop that makes myself and my listeners dance and sing along. I do my best to mix old music from the post-punk era to music that is so new it's not even out on albums yet.
The Music I Make is a mix of projects. Currently I'm working on releasing an album of immature music by a mouse and a special one armed robot who create music to save the world. I am also recording an all tambourine album which is going to be the greatest stride for punk rock ever.
