The youngest of the Gurat children, Lady Suna was a quiet child that loved nature and the serene. A wild child from birth, Lady Suna preferred the rolling hills and the misty woods. The court would call her fairy-child and whispered plenty about her strange features. She was a fair child, in a family of dark hair and brown hair. Wide eyes the color of polished turquoise  and a lithe body like a colt's, she was a rare and abnormal sight to the court.
Suna was born on the Feast of Samhain, the eve of the Spirits, the night of the dead. It seemed to some that only her body lived amongst the living and her soul floated with those of her ancestors in the starry heavens.
Although she was an introvert as a child, adolescence sparked a flame of friendship that left no kindred soul a lone. She would dedicated herself to the education, a joy for her tutors. But she would have these spells, lasting for no more than three days when her mind would cloud up she was as if dead-living. The priests and physicians had no clue what was the cause of this, blaming her spells on her frail being.

When Lady Suna reached the age of maturity, she choose to live with the witch-healer, a close friend since childhood. Lady Suna had shown an aptitude for the healing arts and other divining magic. The Queen agreed to the tutorage and so began Lady Suna's well-known aprentisage with the Keeper of the Woods, Lady Nedra.
