VS. | ||||||||||||||
This fight is during Kenshin's quest for another sakabatou. Chou has kidnapped Iori, Seiku Arai's son, and Kenshin must save him. The fight begins with Chou shooting his saya from one his katana's towards Kenshin, then Chou dashes in with a Gatotsu. Kenshin dodges it saying that if you think you can beat me with Saitohs Gatotsu your dead wrong then he performs a RyuKanSen with the saya shattering the swords on Chou's back knocking him to the ground. Chou gets up saying that without those swords on his back that could have really hurt and puts two Lenbatou swords together creating a larger sword. The trick to this technique was that the swords make two seperate deep cuts that become infected instantly causing the person to die from infection if they survive the encounter. Anyways, Chou dashes in with an attack and Kenshin puts his saya in between the opening of the two swords surprising Chou. Kenshin, then shifts his saya sideways pushing downwards breaking the Lenbatou swords. Afterwards, Kenshin pushes upwards with his saya hitting chou in the stomach sending him hovering in the air. Chou gets up and says he'll fight more serious now and takes off his shirt revealing something strapped around his waist. Seiku warns Kenshin that thats a sword wraped around Chou's waist. The sword is sharp for its thickness making it easy to control the direction it goes. Chou directs the sword at Kenshin but Kenshin dodges at the last minute but that dosn't help him at all because Chou sends the Hakujin no Tachi towards Kenshin again leaving no time to dodge so it cuts Kenshin's leg. Second time around Kenshin blocks the attack with his saya but the saya gets cut in half and Chou directs it back towards Kenshin again. This time Kenshin dodges it by rolling to the side but the wound on his leg begins to bleed even more. Kenshin says to Chou that he'll return Iori back to his parents no matter what. After that speech Seiku runs towards the shrine to give Kenshin the last of the Shaku Arai's satsujin swords. As he's running Chou goes after him by sending the Hakujin no Tachi after Seiku, but Kenshin throws the broken sakabatou at the sword hitting it dead on, causing the sword to fall down. Chou gets pissed and goes after Kenshin again this time Kenshin throws his saya making the Hakujin no Tachi go into the saya like sheathing it. Kenshin then dashes towards Chou grabbing his arm doing a reverse elbow attack. Chou says this is going to hurt and gets hit right in the head. Chou gets up and says that he's not fooling around anymore and gets ready for his attack. Seiku manages to get the new katana and throws it towards Kenshin. Kenshin grabs the sword but hesitates because if he uses this sword he'll end up killing Chou. Chou makes things simple by attacking Iori forcing Kenshin to scream and attack Chou. Chou was faking and makes his real attack towards Kenshin but Kenshin dodges but Chou directs it back towards Kenshin. Kenshin spirals avoiding the attack and does a RyuKanSen Tsumuji hitting Chou knocking him out. Afterwards Kenshin finds out the new sword is really a skabatou and Chou is still alive. | ||||||||||||||
Analyzing the Fight I'm going to redo the anaylsis as the original one I did was completely stupid. The fight between these two was a handicap match to begin with as the difference in skill levels were too great. Chou was no match for Kenshin in the first place and was only able ot push Kenshin as far as he did due to the fact that Kenshin was lacking his sakabatou at the time. While Chou is my favorite Jupun Gatana member I do acknowledge the fact that he was never a match for Kenshin. However, Chou is very skilled with a katana and very adaptable to any given situation as he has developed and learned multiple fighting styles. The ability to control the Hakujin no Tachi with sheer ease is an impressive feet; however, in Kenshin's years of experience and constant live or death battles his skill far outweighs Chou and thus makes this an easy match if he had a sakabatou at the beginning of the fight. Chou lost in the end due to the great difference in skill and the fact that he pushed Kenshin too far when he threatened to kill Iori. Not the most impressive fight to see but an interesting one to say the least. |
