VS. | ||||||||||
The fight begins in he Kamiya dojo at nighttime and after all the the talking between the two they take their stances. Saitoh sets up his Gatotsu and Kenshin sets up his defensive position. Saitoh performs his Gatotsu Ishiki but Kenshin dodges by jumping in the air ready to perform his RyuTsuiSen. This however, dosn't help Kenshin any because Saitoh does a Gatotsu Sanshiki impaling Kenshin's right side making it rain blood on Saitoh. This causes Kaoru to scream in horror. Kenshin had managed to block some of the sword but Saitoh pulls the sword out so fast that Kenshin is still in the air then Saitoh kicks him right off the sword. The second attack Saitoh does another Gatotsu and Kenshin blocks it but Saitoh punches him in the face. Saitoh says that after every attack Kenshin begins to revert back to the Bathowsai and that every attack is much faster. The third attack Kenshin dashes at a higher speed this manages to catch Saitoh off guard making Saitoh note that such a speed actually exist and Saitoh tries for another stab but all you see is the stab phase through Kenshin the next time you see Kenshin he's right next to Saitoh but Saitoh backhands him away. Kenshin is breathing hard and Kaoru says that his body can't keep up with his movements and that somebody should stop the fight. Sanosuke says that Kenshin can't hear them anymore and the camera angle shifts to Kenshin revealing his Bathowsai eyes. Saitoh says he's going to use his full strength and performs a Gatotsu, he dashes at Kenshin using his Gatotsu Ishiki and Kenshin blocks then ducks avoiding Saitoh's side attack but Kenshin blocks it and does a RyuKanSen forcing Saitoh right through the wall. This is when the fight begins to heat up and the two begin to exchange sword swipes but nothing is connecting. Finally Kenshin is pinned up to a wall struggling from getting his throat slit by Saitoh's sword. Kenshin manages to hit Saitoh and escape both are breathing hard at this point and do another charge when Kenshin breaks Saitoh's sword. Saitoh performs antoher Gatotsu stance even though his sword is broken. Sanosuke begins to say that this will be the final blow; one alive on dead or both dead.Saitoh does his Gatotsu Ishiki but releases the handle making the Gatotsu a projectile attack, Kenshin blocks it using his hand then throws it to the side. Kenshin lifts his sword ready to make a final blow when Saitoh uses his belt knocking the sword out of Kenshin's hand. Saitoh pummels Kenshin several times to his upper part of his body making Kenshin to spit blood. Then, Saitoh takes off his jacket and tries to snap Kenshin's neck but Kenshin pushes down on his saya causing it to lift upwards hitting Saitoh smack-dab on his chin. Keshin escapes and the two make a final charge until the secretary of defense screams Stop, at the right time making the fight several years ago reamain incomplete. | ||||||||||
Analyzing the Fight This fight was one of my all time favorite fights. There was no talking trying to psyche each other out it as a straight foward fight to the death. Now if we break this fight down it makes it even cooler to watch the fight again. I'm sure that me describing it won't help much but I hope it gives some hope that you will see the fight to be much better. Anyways, the two are skilled opponents. Although Kenshin is much weaker as the Ruruoni he is unstoppable as the Bthowsai. Kenshin was impaled for some time on that sword and he was able to fight back. I don't know about you but for me I'd be lucky to get up if not survive. The wound was deep and Saitoh kept on digging in Kenshin's gut. So after reverting to the Bathowsai his skills double and he managed to give a good beating to Saitoh Hajime. Saitoh on the other hand can take a good beating. He took a RyuKanSen stright to the neck and was able to contiue the fight. He is truly worthy to be part of the ShinhenGumi plus hge can handle himslef without a katana so that sas a lot Kenshin can't handle himself as well without the sakabatou so it's quite hard for him to fight. Saitoh's Gatotsu is unmatched by any ShinShenGumi members making his Gatotsu a good killing technique. So all in all this fight was pretty even. |
