Short Bio: Jimmy Yang debuted in June of 1999, in World Championship Wrestling as a part of 6-man tag team the Jung Dragons. The Jung Dragons consisted of Kaz Hayashi, Jamie-San (Jamie Noble) and Yang.

Jimmy Yang signed a developmental deal with the WWE when it purchased WCW and was sent to HWA to develop his skills. Soon after that, Yang was released from his developmental contract with the WWE.
Yang continued to wrestle at several indy bookings and even competed in All Japan Pro Wrestling in the Junior Heavyweight division.

On July 19, 2002, Yang joined Jeff Jarrett's up and coming promotion NWA-TNA. He formed a stable with Jorge Estrada and Sonny Siaki named the Flying Elvis'. This group was hilarious they would dance and kick theie way to the ring almost killing each other in the process. During this time Yang was also wrestling for Major League Wrestling.

In September of 2003, Jimmy Yang signed another developmental contract with the WWE. He debuted in the WWE no less than a month later as "Akio", one of Tajiri's henchmen, along with (Ryan) Sakoda.
Since then the pair has split from Tajiri, as he now wrestles for the RAW brand. Akio and Sakoda are no doubt a force to be reckoned with in the future of the WWE. Whether it be tag team or singles competition. The potential for Akio is endless. He has shown us he is capable of being in a match with a big name as he has had a couple of matches with John Cena. - impactwrestling.com
