The Oklahoma native gained fame, respect and various titles throughout the wrestling world due to his hard working attitude, professionalism, and most importantly, a vast knowledge of wrestling maneuvers, including his famous trade mark “Figure Four.” Jack attended Oklahoma State University, and after growing up in the Sooner state he would then go on to become a two time N.C.A.A. national amateur wrestling champion. Once he entered the pro ranks, his success followed him. He went on to win many more titles including N.W.A World Heavyweight Champion twice. Jack now resides in Florida, where he owns a very successful auto body shop business. Having retired, fans remember Jack Brisco as one of the sport’s greatest natural grapplers ranking among the elite champions of the sport. Jack was widely regarded as perhaps the single most talented, gifted and knowledgeable wrestler of his era. Having virtually no equals during his prime as a professional wrestler Jack has been cited many times by his co-workers as the best pure wrestler of his day. |
