Tanaka even captured the ECW World Title briefly in 1999. Following the demise of both FMW and ECW, the master of the rolling elbow continued to compete in both the United States and Japan, most notably in promotions such as Zero-One, Ring of Honor, and of course his appearance at ECW's One Night Stand reunion show in June 2005.
