There was a time in his life when he would be absolutely terrified with every opponent he had to step foot in the ring with. In fact, it became so intense for Norman that the fans felt for him and they began to love him. Going into each match at the time, Norman would often wear a sports jersey supported with some padding and either a football or hockey helmet. He went into each match like it was his last; although, in the reverse way of what you may be thinking because Norman never tried to win. He was a reluctant champion attempting to purposely lose matches; however, he inadvertently retained the title because of his miraculous performances that would pop out naturally. Today, Norman Smiley is a new man with new endeavors. You can see him each week on “iMPACT!” tag teaming with his new good friend and partner, Shark Boy. Together, the sometimes-outrageous couple has already seen some good progress in the ring together and who knows, maybe Norman will see some gold in TNA such as the NWA World Tag Team Titles – Anything can happen with Norman Smiley! |
