Stevie spent his early years as a devoted follower of Raven. Later, the two would compete as a tag team, at one point sharing the ECW Tag Team Championship. After breaking away from Raven, Stevie, along with the Blue Meanie and Nova, formed the blue World order. The bWo, which was a parody of WCW's nWo, became an overwhelming favorite of the rabid ECW fanbase. "Big Stevie Cool" as he was known, reached main event status when he headlined ECW's first pay-per-view Barely Legal. After the untimely demise of the original ECW, Stevie headed to WWE. There, he spent several years competing on both RAW and SmackDown, but was never able to reach the level of success he enjoyed in Extreme Championship Wrestling. The master of the Stevie Kick, Richards has finally returned home to ECW where he can once again utilize the hardcore skills that put him on the wrestling map. |
