Why is it that the first time you ever see a video it’s always half way through, its never the next song you watch, it’s always on when you stop a video or turn on the TV. The first time I saw glorafilia it was like this and my first reaction was to ring Megan who wasn’t at home. Our conversation went like this.
Me: ah, ah, ah, no TV, zed
Megan: what?
me: TV juice turn it on
zed, glorafilia ah ah ah
Megan: what?
me: nathan’s hair ah, Nathan
has shaved his hair and bleached his hair!!!!
Oh no, ahhhhh!
Unfortunatley at the time Megan couldn’t watch juice tv because someone else was using the tv or video or whatever. As I tried explaining it to her the video finished, so I had to wait a few days till it was on again and I taped it and showed her.
In the video Ben’s driving a red and white car and on the way to school he picks up the chick with the cool dreads whom every guy I know reckons is "alright". They go to school, Ben sets off the smoke detector in science and they drive off in the red and white car with Nathan getting shotgun, the chick in the back seat and Adrian and some other chick on a scooter behind them. Then the girl makes a paper plane that shows the boys playing their instruments and they go to the beach and play volley and sit around a campfire. At the end when the boys are playing the song at the beach, they girl puts her hand on Ben’s leg or arm (I can’t remember) awwww, how sweet!
My biggest description of this video is ‘bad hair’ . As you probably guessed from the above description I did not like Nathan’s change to blonde. And after quite a few times I noticed that Ben had a pretty bad haircut too, it was sort of part spiky part short. Weird. And since reading the pavement interview, the glorafilia video reminds me of a trumpet ad which has now affected my judgement of this video.
