American Cancer Society-They are largest source of private, not-for-profit cancer research funds in the US, second only to the federal government in total dollars spent.
People Living With Cancer-As a leading organization representing medical professionals who treat people with cancer, The American Society of Clinical Oncology is dedicated to helping patients and their families find accurate, reliable, and oncologist approved information about cancer.
National Childhood Cancer Foundation -This is a non-profit organization that supports pediatric cancer treatment and research projects.
OncoChat-This is a on-line support group for cancer patients, family and friends. They use Internet Relay Chat as a medium. You can visit them on the Undernet IRC network.

Hospice Hands-An exhaustive index of hospice and palliative care related information on the net.
Cancer Survivor Message Board - Talk online with other patients, caregivers and friends about the effects of cancer treatment.
Warmnet - Online support and information source for cancer patients, caregivers, family members and friends.
American Brain Tumor Association- Brain tumor information, treatment, explanations, support,  resources, and research  updates are available here. The American Brain Tumor Association exists to eliminate brain tumors and to meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.
National Brain Tumor Foundation- This is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting families that have been affected by brain tumors.
Aircare Alliance -Using their own time and general aviation aircraft, pilot members of these organizations help patients travel to medical facilities when financial need or other compelling circumstances would prevent them from doing so otherwise.
Airlifeline- Airlifeline pilots assist ambulatory patients who must receive life-sustaining treatment at a medical facility far from home and cannot afford the cost of travel. 
American Pain Foundation- The American Pain Foundation web site is an online resource center for people with pain associated with cancer. The site answers concerns that patients have regarding pain.
The Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre- Information on various types of pediatric brain tumors, descriptions of the ongoing research at the Hospital for Sick Children and links to support resources.
Cancerpage.com -Offers prevention, screening and treatment information about various cancers; news about each disease, a database for checking potential drug interactions, survivors stories, and much more.
CancerSource.com- Not only does this site provide cancer specific information, it also offers a variety of additional services. These include; message boards, breaking cancer news and archives, live chats, presentations, interviews, a drug database and an online store for books, videos and CD's.  
Children's Cause- The Children's Cause is an independent advocacy voice of families and survivors on national policies that affect research, health care, and services for pediatric cancer survivors. Visit their web site to learn additional information about their efforts.
Children's Hospice International- This group provides a network of support and care for children with life-threatening conditions and their families through hospice support.
Elekta Instruments, Inc.- This homepage provides information about the radiatiotherapy, the Gamma Knife, and its manufacturer, Elekta Radiosurgery. The site includes a listing of worldwide Gamma Knife locations and an extensive bibliography of articles/books addressing use of the Gamma Knife. 
Foundation for the Children's Oncology Group- The Foundation's site describes the support they provide to pediatric cancer treatment and research projects in the US, Canada and Australia. Particularly helpful is the information about childhood cancer and the explanations of the clinical trial process.  
H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute- In addition to in-depth descriptions of neuro-oncology services at Moffitt, site offers an interesting section on Commonly Asked Questions about brain tumors. 
International Radiosurgery Support Association- This site offers educational information about the various radiosurgical methods, emotional support, and lists of member institution radiosurgery sites. 
Kids Cancer Network- The Kids Cancer Network's mission is to provide hope for children and their families isolated by the rigors of cancer treatment.  Their web site provides fun activities and resources.

Medline- The Medline section of this National Library of Medicine database contains medical literature citations and abstracts from medical journals. Easy-to-use prompts walk you through a medical literature search. For a search by topic, one enters the key words for which you are searching, indicate the years you wish to search, and if you would like to retrieve the abstracts of the articles.  

National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health- This branch of NIH facilitates and conducts biomedical research into complementary and alternative therapies. The website offers information about various alternative treatments, resources for additional information.
National Health Information Center (NHIC)- The NHIC is a government-sponsored health information referral service. This search system uses your medical keywords to provide a listing of organizations focused on your concerns.
National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization- The NHPCO promotes quality care for terminally ill persons and their families. Their site provides basic information about hospice and palliative care, a searchable database of hospices and palliative care organiztions within the United States, and access to hospice publications. 
National Institute of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)- In addition to neuroscience research updates, this site provides general information about selected neurological diseases, NINDS-sponsored clinical trials, and NINDS clinical studies offered at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
Neurology Channel- This site is developed and monitored by neurologists. Includes information about various conditions related to the field of neurology. 
New York University Department of Neurosurgery- Offers descriptions of the NYU neurosurgery clinical divisions, research, residency and fellowship programs, as well as information about several neurologic disorders including brain tumors.
Partnership in Caring- This organization, which invented living wills, also provides advance directives, patient and family counseling, and advocates for end-of-life care issues.
Strong Health Adult Brain Tumor Network- Describes Strong Health's Adult Brain Tumor Network and includes 13 brain tumor survivor stories. Also, the Health Information and Resources section lists useful information on a variety of topics.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital- The Patient Information section of St Jude's web site includes specifics on different types of brain tumors.
UCLA Neurosurgery- Outlines the services and faculty of UCLA's Department of Neurosurgery. Includes tumor specific information. 
University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Brain and Spinal Tumor Center
In addition to a listing of clinical trials offered at MD Anderson, the site offers basic information about the design of clinical trials and how to find one that is right for you. This site also includes support information for patients and their families.
The Wellness Community- The Wellness Community is dedicated to helping people with cancer and family members fight for recovery. Their web site provides information about their services and programs
