Back ViewMy name is Steve Lee owner of this 85 Toyota Supra since 1989. Over the years this little red car has became more than just a car to me, it was my first car and it is a very faithful friend of mine. After I got out of college in 1995, I decided to retire my friend and wait for the day when I have both the knowledge and the resource to give my baby a new life and a chance to compete with today's force fed 4 bangers and yesterday's V8 muscle cars. After spending years hanging around my Mopar buddy Neil Jeneral, I came to learn a little bit more about cars and horsepower. Inspired by Reg Riemer and Dean Marcum from their personal pursuit of pure horsepower for their naturally aspirated Supras. In 1998 I decided it was time to wake-up my old friend and give it the power and rebirth that it has longed for and so very much deserved. In the Fall of 1998, the car received a mild performance upgrade with Tokico shocks, Eibach springs, HKS intake and exhaust as well as some new trims and molding.

Side ViewIn the Spring of 1999 my Supra received the ultimate upgrade, a custom turbo charger. Utilizing components such as exhaust manifold, turbo and intercooler from a 92 Supra Turbo, the project was nearly a straight bolt on. "Just because nobody makes a turbo kit for your car doesn't mean you can't have one". The entire project took a total of six months, with four months worth of planning, collecting and fabricating all the necessary components and two months (weekends only) worth of performing the actual surgery. The end result was phenomenal! Now my Supra can hang with any big block V8s or hot turbo four bangers and than some... LET THERE BE BOOST!
