1975 Delta 88

Whats New For '75- As in previous years, there is a mild face lift. The Delta 88 stays with round headlamps while Ninety-Eight's switch to rectangular ones. A new rear quarter window improves side visability. Fuel economy has improved slightly. The underbody has greater corrosion resistance than in previous years.

Biggest News- This will be the last year for the convertible body style. The last one, which was red, rolled off the assembly line on July 11, 1975.

Identifying a '75- '75 Delta 88's will have a slightly lower appearence to the grille than in '74. It is now divided into two segments on each side of the center divider. A thin body color strip runs vertically between the segments. Each of the four round headlamps are now in their own square bezel. The bumper is the same as '74 except the segmented grille design continued in the grille width slots located in it. This is also the only year that hardtop sedans will have the rear quarter window with round headlamps.
