Sid Baker - Corp Hating, High Class Dwarf

Sid was a high-class citizen at one time, until the corps thrust him into the shadows while covering their tracks. He lost his job, and he lost his livelihood. However in an effort to get some sort of revenge, Sid managed to retain some of the gear and resources that the corp had supplied for him. He takes with him, into the shadows, his etiquette, his technology skill, and a well developed sense of hatred for the corps.

Sid has no family and is a sort of newbie to the life of a shadowrunner, as shown in his underdeveloped pistol skill. However, being raised as a dwarf, Sid has had his share of combat, and the rough life. He learned to fight on the streets, and knows how to get people where they hurt. His commanding personality comes from the many negotiation situations that his career with the corps placed him in. Also coming from the corps is his electronics background. Not the best technician, but Sid loves to take things apart.

As part of his job requirement, Sid had his chipjack, and other cyberware installed. Although the operations were flawless, Sid had a rough recovery, and therefore is extremely wary of any new additions. He would love to have a datajack put in, but lacks the courage. Besides this, Sid's personality remains studious and somewhat naive, except when he is put in a position that would get him closer to hurting the corps. Sid then shows himself to be an excellent leader and someone who can run with the best of them.

As a remnant of his high-lifestyle, Sid still keeps his luxury flat, and enjoys hanging out at the clubs and bars where the big shots come to relax. He still fancies himself one of them and likes to spend money to prove it. His love for literature, somewhat a result of his short height and inability to get his hands on much else, has made him very talented with the English language, and also adds to his bank of quirks to show off.

In all, Sid retains his fun-loving personality, but is becoming hardened by the shadows and by life's hardships. He is not one to be underestimated.

After A Run...

Having been thrust into the shadow, Sid quickly relearned the combat skills from his youth. He became agile with a pistol, but also remembered how to talk his way through situations. The life of a shawdowrunner posed a new challenge for Sid, and tried his will to survive daily. One of the places he turned to for support, unfortunately, were the local bars. Although, not as classy as the ones he was accustomed to attending, he found something to keep himself busy with and learned many of the street versions of the drinks he once knew. As he learned to accept the hard life, his will improved along with the more deadly arts required for dodging bullets and throwing bullets of his own in the shadows.
