For the first week of my student at Virtual University, I learned how to create the Web Pages. The followings are the summary and the important points that I learned in the Week 1.

Basic Terminology
I learned the following key terms that will be used in this class:

HTML, ANGLE BRACKETS, HTML TAGS/TAG SETS, ATTRIBUTES, VALUES, WEB SERVER, WEB BROWSER, SOFTWARE/HARDWARE, FTP, URL, HYPERLINKS/LINKS, HOME PAGE, TEXT EDITOR, HTML EDITING PROGRAMS/HTML EDITORS, WEB PAGE DIRECTORY, DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD

Creating the Template

I created a template file for reusing it as a pre-made "pattern" in the future. The template consists of four basic HTML tags and some text. Following the instruction below took me through the steps for creating a reusable template and turning that template into an HTML document and my first web page.

Step 1: Created a new folder on my computer and named it "HTML".
Step 2: Started a new file in the Notepad.
Step 3: Made my own template provided for using to create all of my web pages in this class.
Step 4: Saved that file as "template.txt" into the HTML folder in step 1.
Step 5: Opened the template file "template.txt.
Step 6: Saved the file as .txt: name the new file notebook1.txt.
Step 7: Wrote a ffew line in the new "Notebook" between <BODY> and < /BODY>: here making
some notes that I learn from lesson1.
Step 8: Performed the exercises by adding some attributes.
Step 9: Saved the file as .html.
Step 10: Saved the file as .html.
Step 11: Viewed any first notebook in the browser.
