Did I go to the gym this evening like I do every Thursday
evening. No.
Why?
Because I'm off tomorrow and I can go in the morning when
it isn't very busy. Will I? Probably not.
Why not?
Because I need to go to the grocery store and get quarters
while I'm there to do laundry that I should have done yesterday.
I won't get up early enough to go to the gym and do laundry and
take a shower before they turn the water off at noon.
The water will be off until around 3 so I'll be out shopping,
at the park, something until late afternoon.

R. called me the other day. Previously on 'The Life of R."
he and his wife were in marriage counseling. Well, in counseling
she was talking independence, freedom, and doing her own thing.
The therapist commented that it sounded like she wanted to move
out and do her own thing but was scared of the outside world.
She's never been on her own, having moved from her mom's house
at 18 to R's. Now at 22-23 she is discovering that there is a
whole 'nother world out there and she wants to play.
So she decided to move out. A few days later R. filed for
divorce. He didn't seem too terribly broken up about it. I was
more upset about it than him. He figures it will hit him in a
few weeks.
