Transformation poems

I opened the barrel, loaded, closed.
Waiting till the moment came,
The moment of truth,
A matter of life or death.
I was strong and swift.
I never took a job that I couldn't accomplish.
I continued to hunt down my target.
My heart beat as fast as an athlete sprinting in the Olympics 100-meter dash.
My palms drenched,
Sweat poured down my face.
Target in position.
I whizzed by like the speed of light,
With one thing on my mind,
Destroy.
I met my target,
Mission Complete

The movie star anxiously waited in her seat.
She was elegant and polished as always.
The presenters announcing the next category.
'Our nominees for best actress are....'
One by one they were named.
"...and the winner is..."
The Shrine Auditorium erupted
with joyful pandemodium
The actress, graceful and lustrous
found herself approaching the stage.
Like every other shimmering prize,
She shone and glittered like a gem for all to see.
