Protesting another vehicle will only be accepted under the following terms.  At the end of the event, the driver who wants to protest another is required to put up a fifty dollar protest fee. This money will be held by 4-D demo derby. If the car protested is illegal by officials decisions, the driver protesting gets the fifty dollars back.  If the car proves to be legal, the driver protested gets twenty five dollars and 4-D demo derby gets the other twenty five dollars. The driver who lays down the fifty dollars goes home minus fifty dollars.

NOTE:   Before race inspection should only be for driver safety such as secure batteries and fuel tanks.   It is YOUR duty as a driver to bring a car built to the rules.  If something slips past us during inspection which is not built to the rules, as we should not have to look for it anyway,   ( example: frame reinforcement, suspension altering, etc.), and we find it during or after the race,  you are gone for the event.  You are welcome to bring a car to any future events.            WE JUDGE CARS NOT DRIVERS. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ILLEGAL CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

   TRI STATE SPEEDWAY    HAUBSTADT, IND.
On the date of  September 16th 2001, raindate Sept. 23rd , I will once again be working with them for the annual demolition derby. It will not be a 4-D demo event. It will be held along with the enduro, 4 cylinder figure 8, and the chain race. The above rules will apply this year for the derby. Only difference is that the vehicles from the enduro or figure 8 who compete in the demo will be permitted to have a full roll cage due to the  rules permitting this protection. Keep in mind that most cars which go from these events to the demo are pretty well beat up anyway.  They will not be permitted to run if anything protrudes to any portion outside of the drivers compartment to the frame. The frame must be free to bend.  The demo area will again be a squared off area inside the big circle track.             There will be no demo heat races.           It is a one time shootout.
The payout will be as follows: Big demo 1st place $1000.00, Big demo 2nd place $600.00, Big demo 3rd place $300.00   Mini demo 1st place $500.00, Mini demo 2nd place $200.00
Mini demo 3rd place $100.00.  Entry fees are $20.00 + $5.00 extra for any other event entered. $10.00 extra for more than one car entered.  Pit passes are $12.00 each.
Rules for events other than the demo may be obtained by contacting Tri-State Speedway.

WE WILL NOT BE AT THE GIBSON CO. FAIR THIS YEAR. BE SURE TO VISIT US AT OUR OTHER SHOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
