Surgical Oncology net A new internet Journal about surgical oncology. ISSN 1591-1063 June 2001.     NEWS GOOD FAVOUR FOR Surgical Oncology net ! The journal thanks all the internet search engines that have been sensible to this new initiative, in particular we thank the search engines Yahoo.com; Google. com; Netscape.com ; Virgilio.it and finally Geocities.com who hosts us. We excuse if we have forgotten someone. But a particular thank to all our visitors that have realized 1100 contacts in two months. We hope to intensify the production of articles, and at the end of this experimental phase we invite residents of all the world to contact us for an eventual publication (review article, original article, case report). The e mail is romgiul@tin.it. As you noticed we have spoken about gastrointetinal stromal tumors (the most visited!) and gastric cancer. We have written about all the most debated themes now in gastric cancer: early gastric cancer, the sentinel node, the problem of micrometastasis and if gastric cancer in Japan is a different disease from that in the West. It is forthcoming the discussion about cancer of the cardia. We also debated the merkel cell carcinoma, a cutaneous noplasm. Cutaneous neoplasms represent an interesting and current theme!
