At the right of the first image (14b) are the last of the marching bostanjis followed by two mounted officers of the Privy Stables. The magnificently appointed but riderless horses are spares. The horses are flanked on both sides by white-crested solaks and by peyks armed with lances and dressed in tall, gilded caps. The black-crested horsemen are solak officers.
In the second image (15a) we see some more solaks (who are this time armed with bows), peyks, and spare horses introduced in the first frame. At the left edge of the painting are two more horsemen who are dressed in the mücevveze turban and patterned silk kaftans and are the masters of the Horse.
