SurvCalc

SurvCalc is a comprehensive cadastral survey program written specifically for New Zealand surveyors who use Hewlett Packard 48 series calculators.

SurvCalc Features
SurvCalc provides all the necessary tools for solving cadastral problems.  SurvCalc also provides the functionality to ‘talk’ to your office PC.  If you would like to download your current job database to generate a base plot, or if you would like to receive points for field setout, SurvCalc makes it fast and simple.

SurvCalc allows you to create a new job for each new project. If memory is available old jobs can remain in memory for use at a later time.

How does it drive?
Easy!  A main menu provides links to a Database Editor menu and a Calculations menu.

From the Database Editor menu you can add points, view points, edit points, erase points, print points (to a Hewlett Packard IR printer), show job statistics, send & receive ASCII files and delete unwanted jobs.

From the Calculations menu you can calculate radial or sequential joins, coordinate hanging traverses, close and adjust traverses (Bowditch), compute missing lines, calculate intersections (by bearings, distances and lines), coordinate radial ties, subdivide lines, compute areas and calculate resections using Blunt's method and Least Squares adjustment.

Comprehensive Manual
A comprehensive manual guides you through the operation and use of SurvCalc.

Hardware Requirements
SurvCalc runs on the HP48G+, the HP48GX and the HP48SX fitted with an expansion RAM card.

A cut-down version of SurvCalc is available for the HP48G, the HP48S and the HP48SX (with no expansion RAM card fitted). These models have only 32K built-in RAM.
