1. Why do these companies pay so much money for these surveys?
Large companies and especially large Multi National companies set budgets for exactly this. It is an intrical part of a successful marketing strategy. They need real, human input to match with their own assumptions and research data. They need 'average' people to test their products and services, sometimes before they are even released. Companies need to see if changing times and opinions require changes to their existing products or services.

Most big movies will be shown to a "test audience" to see their reaction and to rate the movie as a whole well before it is released. These test screenings can sometimes lead to drastic changes being made to the movie. New food products are always tested by survey earners to rate their taste and overall enjoyment level. You may be sent some new products to try and rate from.

Your participation in giving your opinion on different research surveys directly influences the way companies develope their products, deliver services and develope policies allowing them to better meet the needs of their customers, and consumers in general.

2. Are there any additional fees other than Survey Earners membership?
No. You shouldn't have to pay any other joining fees to do any surveys.

3. How much do the surveys pay?
A basic email survey ranges from $3.00 - $20.00 and averages at $10.00. Previewing movie trailers pays up to $80.00. Trying new products can pay $80.00 or more. Panel discussions can pay up to $150. It all depends on the length of the survey, discussion type or forum group. All amounts are quoted in $USD (US Dollars).

4. How long does it take to complete a survey?
Generally the surveys take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete.

5. Why is there a membership fee to join Survey Earners?
The small fee pays for our marketing costs, web development and webhosting costs and maintenance and updating of our website. We do not receive commission from the companies in our system. It takes time to first locate these companies, check the validity of each company and check each and every paid program they have on offer. We keep in regular touch with all the companies to make sure they are still current and offering what we are presenting. We constantly search for, and research new companies to add to our database for you to use. You have permenant access to this updated database list. When we first started we only had around 50 companies on our system. We have grown our database to now have over 200 top companies for you to work for.

6. How do I get the surveys?
Many companies will send survey opportunities to you via email. Others have surveys available on their website, (online surveys). Some companies may contact you by phone. As a member, you can register with as many companies as you want. Once your registered they will then contact you and send you the surveys.

7. Who actually pays me?
The companies you choose to work with will be the companies who will pay you. We do not pay you.

8. How will I be paid?
Some companies will pay you via a PayPal account. Some will mail you a paycheck. Some companies also have point systems for you to receive gifts or vouchers. Some companies have several options. Each company has it's own payment criterias.

9. Will I be paid in US Dollars?
Everyone gets paid in US Dollars regardless of where you live. PayPal will transfere your withdrawals into your own countries currencies, and most banks in the world will accept cheques made out to you in US dollars. Overseas cheques may take up to 28 days or longer to clear.

10. How long after I complete a survey will I be paid?
All companies endevour to mail cheques out or credit your account within 5 working days of a survey, panel participation or forum group being completed.

11. What about any income taxes?
You're responsible for your own tax management. Taxes are not deducted from the survey payments. Most governments require you to declair overseas or internet earnings as part of your income.

12. How many surveys can a member participate in?
There is no limit to the amount of surveys a member may participate in. The number of survey invitations you receive depends upon the amount of companies you respond to in the first place and the amount of personal information you provide to the companies you apply to. The more they know about your experiences, activities, likes and dislikes the more matches with surveys will be made for you. The more detail you go into with your answers on the surveys encourages the companies to send you more surveys.

13. Can members participate in the same surveys other members participate in?
Yes of course. As long as you don't "copy" the other persons answers. You shouldn't confere with other members during the surveys. It doesn't matter how different your opinions are from your friends, we are looking for each individual opinion.

14. How old do I have to be to participate?
All ages are welcome and in some cases, even children can participate. But you must be over 18 to earn money and open a PayPal account. (Children cannot sign up and be paid for the surveys.) Adults/parents must act on behalf of children participating in surveys.

15. How can I become a Member?
It's simple. All you need to do is click the "Join here" links on our homepage and then complete the PayPal "Sign Up" page. You will be then taken straight to our Members Area, and can get started straight away.

16. Are there any refunds?
There are no refunds so make sure you understand exactly what you are purchasing and read everything presented to you on this website first. We only act as a "directory' offering genuine opportunities by 'real' and 'paying' Survey companies.
