Chase attends Marshall University where he is currently majoring in business. Chase claims to hate college and he would rather stare at walls all day than attend class.

He considers himself to be funny, unique, laid-back, yet determined. “If I want something bad enough, then I will do everything within my power to attain that goal,” Chase says.

One of Chase’s hobbies is art. He originally majored in art, followed by art education, yet decided the field wasn’t right for him. He still draws when he finds time. Chase won a few local and statewide art awards for projects he had done while in high school. Also skilled in graphic arts, Chase has also designed local brochure covers. “I consider art to be something that actually looks like something real, you know, it has shading and it looks like a real object. That crap that is a bunch of paint thrown on a canvas is just that, crap,” as Chase likes to say.

Chase is a self-admitted film nut. He considers his DVD player to be his most prized possession. He is also a fan of comic books and any type of print that contains Doctor Doom, the villain from the Marvel comic book universe.

He also considers himself to be an outdoorsman. Living in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia has given Chase the benefit of exploring the outdoors to it’s fullest potential. Chase knows how to hunt, fish, and live off the land. He camps regularly and as often as possible.

Chase keeps himself in terrific physical shape. He only drinks water, milk, and some juices. Chase does not eat ice cream, chocolate, or most other dessert-type foods. He lifts weights on a consistent basis.

A surfer boy in the hills as some would say, Chase is remembered for his looks. Having been compared to the likes of Fabio, Brad Pitt, and even Jesus, Chase takes it all in stride. “I don’t worry about what other people think I look like. Besides, I think I’m better looking than all those people I’m compared to,” Chase says with a smile.

He broke his femur bone at the young age of eleven and dealt with a twelve inch metal rod in his leg for seven months. His arm was pulled out of it’s socket when he was only three. He has had surgeries dealing with his leg, and his feet. Chase is also deaf in his right ear. “I’ve had to go through lots of pain in my life, you know, the physical kind, so I’m not worried about that in the slightest,” Chase says.

Chase considers himself to be picky when it comes to women. He’s always on the lookout for a certain type that must meet his criteria. Family is the most important thing in his life. “If something ever happened to my family, I just can’t imagine going on living,” Chase says. If he wins, Chase plans to build a castle and construct a moat around it. “I’m not going to lie and say I’m giving the money to charity. I’ll be honest about it. All that money is going straight to the ‘Make Chase Extra Happy Fund’,” Chase says.
