Jasper was the fifth person voted out of the game, being eliminated by members of the Lanzarote tribe.
Jasper Lee was born and raised in Hong Kong, China. He lives with his father, a truck driver, his mother, a full-time housewife, and his 13-year-old sister, Shirley. He has been an excellent student from an early age, earning full marks since kindergarten and primary school, even being first in his class for four consecutive years. He began watching Survivor, and liked it because he recognized the social politics present in secondary school. "Unlike Primary school, in Secondary School, the social politics were getting more complicated, and watching Survivor does help me to be prepared for all these ugly and dirty social politics," Jasper says.
Though his mother tongue is Cantonese, Jasper speaks fluent Mandarin and English as well, though he is still learning English in school, and is always concerned that his English is good enough to communicate well. At some point, he would also like to learn German. He enjoys learning different languages because "you feel so successful and satisfied when you can speak other languages."
In 2001, Jasper joined the "Stage Crew" in school and worked as a floor manager, who is mainly responsible for collecting the information before a performance, and managing the performers. "It was a breathtaking, yet difficult experience," Jasper says. "On one hand, you can learn tons of new things that you wont be able to learn in regular classes; On the other hand, you have to sacrifice so many things, like spare time, study time, to get the job done. during a Christmas Show last year I had to get up in 5am and went to school to prepare for the show, which started at 8, so it's really a tough tough job, it challenges your mental and physical ability. Talk about getting prepared for Survivor!" Jasper is now the head master of the FM department.
In his spare time, Jasper enjoys surfing the internet, reading, "playing innocent" and doing English grammar exercises, and enjoys time to himself. He is also part of the volleyball team in school.
As for the future, Jasper would like to become a teacher or a professional in the film or television industry. He would also like to visit some foreign countries, since he has never been beyond southern China. High on his list are Northern Europe, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the United States.
His birthdate is September 10, 1988.
