Autumn continues to chatter in sentences that occasionally contain real words. Her vocabulary includes cookie, doggy, kitty cat, fishy, hi, mama, baba (bottle), up, and an assortment of growls imitative of her new puppy. She loves to create other sounds, using her tongue and hands to make bizarre facial/noise combinations. Autumn is trying to stand without holding on, and succeeds for about 5 seconds. She loves books, and will point to print and jabber, in imitation of reading aloud. | Jake is the silent one. He is beginning to make repetitive babbling sounds, and is rapidly catching up with the use of his hands. He is fascinated by anything remotely related to hardware, and will spend time studying gadgets and gizmos from all angles. He's a speed crawler, is beginning to cruise, and loves animals, including his new puppy. Jake enjoys being tossed and spun, and when feeling well, has a smile that charms all the ladies. |
