Schooling

Abington Schools attended through 9th grade transferred to Temple University High School Graduated in 1963.

Work History

Worked At John Wanamakers In Jenkintown from mid 1961 to Oct 1963 started as stock person was very shortly promoted to assistant head of the delivery department, where I was in charge of seeing that customers packages were sent out. Also in charge of incoming stock seeing that it got to the proper departments.

Oct 1963 left Wanamakers to go to work for The Budd Co 2450 Hunting- Park Ave Phila Pa.19132. Served a 4 year apprenticeship in Tool and Die Making. While there I have worked as a Tool & Die Maker, Pipe fitter, Building Maintenance, electrician, Die Setter, Welder,Quality Control. I have experience with Production robots and computer controlled assembly lines. For about 6 years I was what was called a leader in charge of 12 people assigning jobs and making sure the jobs were done correctly. I gave this up to change departments. In December 1994 I was promoted to Skilled Trades Team Leader. I was in charge of 6 Tool & Die makers, 5 Pipefitters, 4 Electricians, and 3 Quality Controll Inspectors.

I retired on Nov. 1st.1996. I am available any time.

Oct.1996 thrrough Nov.1996 Worked for Cumberland Farms as a cashier in Audubon Pa. I left there for better pay.

Jan. 6th.1997 through April 18th. 1997 Worked for Torrente Machine Shop 394 E. Church Road King of Prusia Pa. I was laid off due to lack of work on April 18th.1997.

Oct 2000 through Nov 2001 worked at Radio Shack as a sales associate. I resigned due to a major personality conflict with the third new manager.

I also am familiar with computers. What I know is self tought. I am familiar with using Windows 3.1, Win-95, Word 6, and Excel 4.0. I am also familiar with HTML programming for the internet.

I am interested in supplementing my retirement and work closer to home.
