Illusion is always one of the major products for Tenyo and Tenyo has a couple of tricks which involve bills as well such as Trisector, Bill Slasher, Midas Machine, Lancelot, etc. One of the advantages on using bills is that you can borrow it from anyone and they know that their bills in their wallet are not gimmicked.
You borrow a bill from a spectator and after rolling it, you put it into a tube which is made of plastic. You close the cover, and let the spectators knows that they can see the borrowed bill all the time through a small window. You then use a small knife to penetrate through the tube and in this point, you can even open the lid to show to the spectator that the small knife is really penetrate the bill inside if you use Japanese Yen to perform the trick. After closing the lid, you remove the plastic knife and open the lid again to take out the money. All is clean now and you can hand out all the props to the spectators for thorough examination.
This trick, looks like toys rather than magic. Although all the props are not gimmicked, your spectators can perform the trick again if they have the props in hand and follow your routine. It sounds amazing but it really happens when I give all the props to my younger brother. However, when my best friend Ben Yu perform this trick to me after his handsome trip and bought this trick from Japan, I was amazed and had no clue on how he performed it. Therefore, worth to buy or not is up to you but I can say that the tube is ignorant, just a tube and nothing special.
