We've been enjoying a busy and entertaining summer.
It started off with Natalie's first birthday party on June 10th which
we held at the Avalon Springs guest house by the pool. Thank you to
all the guests for making the trip over to help Natalie celebrate the
beginning of a new year.
On June 6th my sister Margaret gave birth to her first child
- a redhaired lassie which they named Carolina. We flew down to
Miami in early July to meet the little beauty. Natalie was curious but
appreciated her cousin far more when she wasn't being held by Susan.
Later in July our friend Nikhil made a special
trip to New York from Spain to celebrate his birthday. We decided to
turn the occasion into a two night stay in New York. It was great to
be back in our old neighborhood.
Before the summer slips completely by we hope
to visit two of the local museums geared toward children: The Maritime
Museum and Stepping Stones, both in Norwalk. If any of you would like
to join us, let's start making plans.
Looking forward to the fall months, we plan to
take a special beach vacation in early October. We don't know where
just yet . . .that is for Sushant to decide. We'd also like to make
a trip to Boston to rendez-vous with friends in that area.
