What is it? |
Reiki is an ancient healing system based on an ancient Tibetan knowledge. It was rediscovered by a Japanese Buddist monk in the 19th century. The word REIKI is from the Japanese - REI meaning boundless and universal and KI meaning vital life force energy. This force flows through all living beings. Practitioners of Reiki are initiated by a Reiki Master to empower them to use this healing energy. The practitioner channels this energy for the benefit of others. The healing energy can be used to bring about profound changes in ones life and restore harmony and balance. |
What is Reiki treatment? |
Reiki is given by the laying on of hands. During a treatment the hands are placed on particular areas of the body. The treatments is given through clothing. Reiki creates a glowing radiance that is deeply relaxing. A Reiki treatment takes away pain and supports the healing process. It is more that getting rid of the physical pain. It builds a bridge between body and soul, healing emotional trauma and unresolved conflicts. |
The great value of Reiki is that it is guided by the highter intelligence. It knows exactly where to go and how to respond to restrictions in the flow of the body's energy. It can work directly on the unconscious parts of the mind or body which contains negative energy, inhibiting thoughts and feelings and eliminating them. As this happens the unhealthy physical organs and tissues become properly nourished with KI and begin functioning in a balanced and healthy way. |
REIKI cannot be guided by the mind, therefore it is not limited by the experience of the practitioner. Neither can it be misused as it always creates a healing effect. REIKI can treat humans, animals and plantlife. |
