AS WE CELEBRATE THIS
EASTER LET US GIVE
THANKS TO OUR SAVIOR,
JESUS CHRIST, WHO GAVE
HIS LIFE THAT WE TOO
MIGHT ENJOY ETERNAL
LIFE SOMEDAY!!!!

EASTER FINERY
The old cold winter has gone its way
Springtime is in the air
Look around and you will find
Signs of it everywhere!

Easter bonnets in store windows
All decked out in pretty bows
Easter dresses, satin, frilly
Row upon row of pretty clothes.

Here's a suit I found for Daddy
It's a fabulous shade of blue
His eyes will light up when he sees it
It's his favorite color too.

I found a baseball mitt for Joe
Genuine leather, by the way
I know how much he's wanted one
I heard him tell Will one day.

This dainty little purse is perfect
For that small sweet babe of mine
When she opens it she'll see that
She has five brand new dimes.

As for me, I don't need any
Frills or clothes that are in style
I just need to know my family
Is content. - That makes me smile.

EASTER MORN
Easter morning has arrived
Let's celebrate the day
With easter egg hunts on the hill
And baskets - oh so gay!

Let's wake the children and watch while
They hurry to find the treats
Of little pink bunnies and jelly beans
And other good things to eat!

Chocolate easter chicks and rabbits
Marshmallow eggs and coconut too
Peanut butter flavored morsels
These sweet treats are waiting for you!

But don't eat too much of these
'Cause can't you smell the ham
Mommy's cooking for our dinner
With biscuits and candied yams!

EGG HUNT
Easter time is here today
With candy, treats, and gum
Let's join the other kids outside
And have ourselves some fun!

Let's gather up our baskets
And fill them with eggs from the park
'Cause Mr. Easter Bunny
Has hidden them all in the dark.

It looks like a rainbow on the grass
With eggs - yellow, orange, and blue.
It is such fun collecting them.
Here's one for me and one for you.

Now that we have filled our baskets
And have won some prizes too
Let's go home and see what treasure
Easter Bunny's left for you!
