It gives me such great pride
I honor and respect my flag
For it, many men have died!
The red is for the blood-'twas shed
On all the battlegrounds
Where carnage and the wounded
Were lying all around!
The white stands for the courage
Of our great fighting men
And bandages to bind the wounds
Of survivors at the end.
The blue denotes our loyalty
To protect with our lives
This freedom for our children
Our husbands and our wives.
Each star shines for a single state
And casts its' own bright light
Together and truly united
Fifty stars make an awesome sight!
Yes! My flag stands for freedom,
Human Rights and Liberty
I respect our right to fly it.
It means my life to me!!

Picnics out on the green green grass
Potato salad - a lemonade glass
Watermelon - It's disappearing fast!
These are the tastes of the Fourth of July!
The bang bang as firecrackers are sent high
The whoosh of the rockets as they fly
Strains of patriotic music drifting by
These are the sounds of the Fourth of July!
A soft glow that brightens the sky up above
And shooting sparklers that soar like doves
Such pretty bright colors - That's what I love!
These are the sights of the Fourth of July!
Freedom to speak up as we wish
Freedom to hold our child and give him a kiss
Freedom to worship, to hunt, and to fish
These are the results of the Fourth of July!!
