Took the Delta Express to go to Disney and meet up with my brother, his wife, and their daughter, Rachel. I'm getting a partially paid for trip in return for babysitting. We stayed at the Carribbean Resort, which is really nice. I got there first and had to wait several hours before they arrived since their flight didn't take off for hours after they boarded. We went to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot and Universal Studios. There was one day where they all went off to a water park and I went to Epcot. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe and rode roller coasters, etc. In the Magic Kingdom, the kids can buy an autograph book and get the Disney characters autograph. The characters were great--they always snuck a peak in the front of the book so they knew the name of the child (assuming parents were smart enough to write the name there). The look on Rachel's face when Minnie and Mickey and the others knew who she was! |
