22nd September (Diary according to Michael King)

Last day set off to see the European parliament building (which is massive) then got the underground up to the site of the 1958 world fair. Went up into the Atominum which was a very impressive building but seemed like it had been left into disrepair and is now a bit dirty. Had fun running around and up never ending staircases. The went back to hostel picked up our bags and got the Eurostar back to London. I said goodbye to Tim then set off to meet up with the uni boys in Brighton for James' Birthday celebrations. Had a good night and ended up sleeping on the floor of their pad in Crawley.
