A few more pictures...
The first snow sculpture on this page is the Canadian entry called the "Millennium Bug". The second sculpture is from Venezuela and is called "Pisa Latas". To give you an idea on how big these scuptures are - note the persons legs through the lower center of the Venezuela sculpture.
The next two pictures are were taken on the rue St-Louis in Haute-Ville (upper town) which is still considered Old Quebec because this section is still within the city walls. Those white dots you see in the night picture are snow flakes. The temperature was around 2 degrees above zero.
The next picture is of the boardwalk that wraps around the Chateau Frontenac and continues up to the Citadelle. There was a taboggen slide set up and that kid on the toboggen just came off the slide. Note everyone is dressed warmly except for the tourest without a hat or ear muffs. Believe me, it was cold. The next picture is from the local compitition from the area. It is a hand with a ball in it.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. I have a ton more but how many can I place here. :-)
